About this utility

How to use PEM, JWK & X.509 Inspector

Inspect certificates and public/private key containers locally without persisting key material.

What to provide

Paste one PEM block or a JWK/JWK Set. X.509 certificates expose subject, issuer, validity, extensions, fingerprints, and public-key details.

  1. Paste, type, or drag and drop a supported text file into the input area.
  2. Choose the options that match your intended result.
  3. Select “Run tool” or press Ctrl/Command + Enter, then copy, download, or move the result back into the first input for another pass.

What the result means

A structured, redacted container report. Private key parameters are never reproduced in the output.

Privacy and safety

This utility is loaded as browser code and processes your input only in this tab. OmniCastConverter has no upload endpoint and never stores your content, filenames, tokens, or secrets. Generated markup and code are shown as inert text and are never executed.

Limitations

  • Inspection does not establish trust, revocation status, hostname validity, or chain validity. Encrypted PEM and password-protected PKCS containers are not decrypted.
