About this utility

How to use NuGet Version Range Explainer

Explain NuGet interval and floating version notation and test a package version.

What to provide

Supports exact/bracket intervals, open bounds, bare minimum versions, and numeric floating patterns such as 6.* or 6.2.*.

  1. Paste, type, or drag and drop a supported text file into the input area.
  2. Choose the options that match your intended result.
  3. Select “Run tool” or press Ctrl/Command + Enter, then copy, download, or move the result back into the first input for another pass.

What the result means

Inclusive/exclusive boundaries, floating pattern, tested-version result, and restore semantics.

Privacy and safety

This utility is loaded as browser code and processes your input only in this tab. OmniCastConverter has no upload endpoint and never stores your content, filenames, tokens, or secrets. Generated markup and code are shown as inert text and are never executed.

Limitations

  • Prerelease floating labels, package-source ordering, dependency-resolution strategy, and lock-file behavior are not simulated.
