How to use Privacy Camera Recorder
Preview and record a camera stream only after explicit permission, then download the in-memory recording.
What to provide
Choose a camera, grant permission, start recording, then stop and download. The stream is released when you leave.
- Use the focused controls in the workspace. Permissions such as camera access are requested only after an explicit action.
- Review the live status and bounded in-memory result. Interactive history is cleared when this component closes.
- Copy or download the result explicitly when the utility offers an export.
What the result means
A local WebM recording held by an object URL until cleared or the tab closes.
Privacy and safety
This utility is loaded as browser code and processes your input only in this tab. OmniCastConverter has no upload endpoint and never stores your content, filenames, tokens, or secrets. Generated markup and code are shown as inert text and are never executed.
Limitations
- Camera and MediaRecorder support, available codecs, resolution, and permission controls vary by browser and operating system.
